Family Ties Novel

The benefits of rushing into doing adult things seemed to outweigh the consequences for a long while. Money was raining down on them and everything that money could buy came easy. Including power, respect, and of course women. Dre and his friends were enjoying them all; but one thing rang more true than anything else in their lives. You can't escape the fate of the course you choose.

Death and prison time seemed to be dangling over their heads unnoticed until one day the door slammed shut. When one of the team turns rat, everyone of them will have to think themselves out on their own. Is death the best option? Should they ride off into the sunset and keep running until the wheels fall off? Have they just been pawns in a cycle leading them toward the same ending as so many that came before them? Who can they trust?

The apple never seems to fall far from the tree, but its those same family ties that might be the only thing that can save them.
